About Hit the Button Maths
An independent, browser-based maths practice site built around one idea: short, quick-fire rounds build faster recall than long worksheets.
What we built and why
Hit the Button Maths is a free quick-fire mental maths game for UK primary-aged children, covering times tables, division facts, number bonds, doubles and halves, and square numbers, plus a dedicated practice mode for the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check. It's run independently — not affiliated with any exam board, school, or the Department for Education — and funded by advertising rather than subscriptions, so every game mode stays free with no account required.
The site is maintained by Abu Hurera LLC. We're a small, independent operator; this isn't a large edtech company, and we'd rather say that plainly than dress it up.
What we're not
We don't collect any personal information from children who play. There's no login, no profile, no data sent anywhere beyond standard, anonymous website analytics. Best scores are stored only in the browser being used, on that device.
